Something powerful and lasting takes hold when educators are curious together: joyful learning. Creating opportunities for educators across the St. Louis region to lead in the classroom with a human-centered approach is at the heart of ISP’s Mission: Through meaningful collaboration with schools and districts we advance equitable quality education.
“If you want a great city, you have to have great schools, and the way you do that is one teacher, one educator, one school at a time. It takes time and trust to build relationships that are authentic and sustainable. You have to show up in a spirit of collaboration.”
~ Victoria May
Executive Director of the ISP
Bridging Research & Practice
The ISP supports school transformation by establishing research-practice partnerships (RPPs). By providing a vital bridge between research and practice, we seek to identify problems and co-design solutions that create equitable, supportive conditions for learning.
Bridging the latest in educational research and K-12 schools is a mutually beneficial approach that offers both communities access to knowledge and support they need for meaningful impact.
